We are currently seeking a CAD Specialist II to join our Industrial Automation team in our Puchong office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate drawings for Mechanical / Electrical / System design and engineering works.
• Building of 2D, 3D modeling and Isometric drawings in accordance to Bill of Materials.
• Check for correctness of construction drawings before starting of production by fabricators/vendors.
• Work with discipline engineer on modeling accuracy, code and standards, as well as client specification and requirements.
• Perform drawing modification and revision upon receive of comments from customers/engineers.
• Final as-built drawing generation upon completion of FAT and punch list closure.
• Record and track task list to ensure timely deliveries of drawings.
• Be involved during both bidding and execution stage activities.
• Timely reporting of drawing progress to project manager or team leader.
• Achieve efficiency improvements within assigned work.
• Ensuring the quality objectives are in line with Honeywell quality policy.
• Ensuring the quality objectives are in line with client quality specification, delivery time and strategy expectations.
• Observe client’s deviation / additional request – support to convert these into Change Orders / Variation Order when necessary.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Minimum 10 years industrial experience in Oil & Gas.
• Experience working on design drawings for gas metering/regulating skid, analyzers systems, sampling systems, control panel packages.
• Familiar with technical discipline specifics like code and standards & project specifications ie. Shell DEP, Petronas PTS, ASME Code etc.
• Skillful on AutoCAD Plant 3D / MEP / Electrical / Advance Steel / Naviswork
• Good interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills. Both verbal and written.
• Ability to technically communicate internally with team members on day to day work tasks.
• Service oriented, problem solver and awareness of the situation and problems and how to solve them.
