Responsibilities:

Reporting to the CFO, the Manager of Professional Services Finance will own all finance processes related to Skedulo’s Professional Services business, including forecasting, budgeting, KPI tracking, and financial analysis.

  • Act as the lead finance partner for the leadership team of Skedulo’s Professional Services business
  • Manage functional budgets for Professional Services-related cost centers working closely with cross-functional leadership
  • Design and implement forecast processes for Professional Services revenue and gross margin
  • Analyze the root cause of variance versus forecast and help drive forecast accuracy while identifying potential for driving greater efficiency within the business
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports that provide key insights and analysis to help drive optimal decision making
  • Assist in the preparation of investor materials, including monthly and quarterly reports and slide decks for the Board of Directors
  • Identify opportunities for greater efficiency and create/implement initiatives and related processes to improve key metrics, drive cost reduction and realize operational improvement
  • Lead quarterly and annual budgeting & planning activities specific to the Professional Services business
  • Assist in updating, tracking, and reporting the KPIs that are important for the Professional Services business
  • Train and mentor junior colleagues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related area with 8 or more years of experience in a finance department. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience with the IT professional services and/or Enterprise Software/SaaS industries
  • Deep financial modeling expertise with extensive experience creating budgets, financial reports, and tracking/reporting metrics
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with Excel and Google Sheets, in addition to Salesforce, ERP, and analytical tools
  • Experience at a high-growth startup with significant financial and operational complexity, ideally within a SaaS company
  • Ability to multi-task within an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to successfully manage competing priorities while working against tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High standards for accuracy and integrity of work
  • Demonstrated success working with team members in a hybrid environment and across a variety of time zones
  • Experience with Netsuite is a plus
