We are seeking a dynamic Senior Solution Consultant to take ownership of and manage a range of technical pre-sales activities. This pivotal role involves showcasing our product, facilitating technical discovery and qualification, and identifying intricate two-way data integrations. In addition, you will oversee strategic consulting efforts, identifying customer use cases, aligning business and technical solutions, and ensuring seamless transitions from pre-sales to delivery. Your contributions will significantly impact key team metrics, including net new revenue, successful scoping, and the implementation of scalable solutions to enhance the efficiency of our Solution Consulting team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote and advocate for Skedulo's product offerings within the market.
  • Employ impactful storytelling and consultation to demonstrate how our product addresses prospective customer pain points.
  • Lead technical discussions with influential customer/prospect stakeholders, effectively conveying creative solutions while addressing technical and security concerns.
  • Craft initial prospective customer scope by producing comprehensive proposals and statements of work.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to reach quota targets, foster robust customer relationships, and achieve overarching company objectives.
  • Foster strong collaborations across internal functions such as sales, product, professional services, alliances, customer success, operations, and marketing.
  • Contribute valuable insights to product development based on customer business challenges and potential solutions.
  • Define and develop sales offerings and repeatable use cases that cater to customer needs, foster new markets, and expand existing market presence.
  • A Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) is required.
  • 5-8 years of previous experience in customer-facing roles, consulting, or pre-sales solution consulting.
  • Demonstrated expertise with at least 5 years of experience in understanding customer requirements, proposing solutions, and demonstrating SaaS products.
  • Exceptional skills in written, oral, and interpersonal communication.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial "start-up" environment, showcasing adeptness in critical thinking, influencing, and multitasking under tight deadlines.
  • Possesses an engaging, highly motivated attitude, and demonstrates the ability to be a self-starter who thrives on rapid learning and immediate application.
  • Prior engagement with customers or cross-functional teams, including sales, customer experience, or product.
  • Proven track record of proposing, building, and evaluating solutions that meet customer requirements and alleviate pain points.
  • Resourcefulness and proficiency in building strong partnerships within the organization to effectively collaborate and drive results.
  • History of developing, authoring, and delivering impactful content that conveys a credible story.
  • 10+ years of highly relevant SaaS pre-sales, start-up experience, strategic consulting, or pre-sales solution consulting (sales engineering) experience.
  • Familiarity with working alongside Enterprise Account Executive sellers.
  • Ability to persuasively articulate offerings and the business value they bring to customers.
