Lead Engineer (Cloud Adoption)

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping innovative cloud solutions? We’re looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer to drive technical excellence and deliver transformational outcomes for our clients.
In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with both internal teams and customer engineering groups, taking ownership of detailed design work while mentoring and uplifting engineers. You’ll combine leadership with technical expertise—contributing independently and guiding a small team to achieve agreed objectives.
What You’ll Do
Architect and implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions on AWS.
Design and build high-quality software and integration workflows using modern technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance for cloud-based solutions.
Champion Agile delivery: actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, lead when required, and take full ownership of stories from inception to completion.
Ensure all engineering outputs meet our Ways of Working, including documentation, unit testing, code quality, and alignment with agreed frameworks.
Continuously improve by refactoring code and addressing technical debt within delivery budgets.
About You
Experienced in AWS cloud architecture and deployment.
Skilled in designing secure, efficient, and modernised cloud infrastructures.
Comfortable working in Agile environments and leading technical teams.
Strong communicator with a passion for collaboration and innovation.
