About the Job

Syncio is on a mission to make collaboration for merchants and makers seamless by democratising inventory and the basic building blocks of commerce across the internet. Today, over 10,000 merchants from 100 countries use Syncio to sync inventory across their expansion stores, retail partners, and marketplaces. We believe that collaboration is at the heart of commerce, shareable inventory supercharges collaboration, and ultimately creates a more egalitarian world.
We’re a high-growth scaleup (Deloitte Tech Fast50 Rising Stars 2021) that’s bootstrapped. We help thousands of merchants globally yet are still a really small team. You’ll be in the first 15 employees at Syncio. How’s that for potential impact and opportunity?
Syncio is looking for a Growth Manager to work closely with the Founder to unlock the next level of growth at Syncio.

Think inventory, orders, product attributes, all the key information required for retail to operate. This allows merchants to create its own micro-marketplaces, become a super-distributor, expand globally, etc. We believe that the potential of collaboration will take us places unimaginable today.
In any given month, Syncio helps merchants sync USD $100M+ of order value for over 10K+ merchant stores across 100 countries globally. These are big numbers. And this is just the beginning.

What you will do

Work closely with the Founder
Learn everything from a product-centric founder that has achieved all of Syncio’s growth through product-led growth mechanisms.
Active mentorship and coaching from the Founder.
Unlock the next level of Product-led Growth
Work with the Product, Engineering, and CX teams to design and implement GTM initiatives.
Supercharge mature and latent growth loops embedded into the Syncio customer journey.
Define our ‘Ideal Customer Profile’ (ICP) and product positioning in the market.
Build and grow the Growth Marketing function
Monitor, evaluate, and optimise performance across the AARRR metrics.
Build Syncio’s content marketing machine to amplify awareness, education, and user acquisition.
Evaluate, test, and optimise growth channels to find/double-down on Syncio’s traction channel(s).
Mentor and grow the client team, acting as the subject matter expert for growth.
Dive deep into customer
Collaborate with our Customer Experience (CX) team to help with customer needs - this means occasionally jumping onto customer calls, reviewing feature requests, support tickets.
Dive deep into product
Work closely with the Product team to understand and help build amazing product based on understanding the customer problem.
Your insights from a growth-perspective are invaluable to helping shape and influence customer needs into product.
At certain times, expect to parachute into almost any role in the team and help execute!

Who we are looking for

Love product - We’re product-led and you’re product-led. Ideally, you have demonstrated success at growing startups through product-led-growth initiatives.
Please will someone think of the customer - Customer-centricity for real at Syncio. That means understanding the users, their behaviour, and the jobs-to-be-done that Syncio performs for them to make #lifeeasier.
Can grow stuff from 0 to 1 - Demonstrated experience of growing something out of nothing - whether it be finding product-market-fit for a product, newsletter, Instagram community, etc.
GSD practitioner - You ‘Get Sh#t Done’ or in Synconaut language, you ‘Show Don’t Tell’. You set the bar for reliability on getting things done on time and to the required standard.
Growth-minded who excels in the unknown - There’s a lot going on. Information changes rapidly. But you adapt accordingly, and if anything, thrive in this chaos. The natural career progression for this role is leading and building a team around Product, but it could also lead to Operations, etc.
You wear a lab coat to paint - You are both scientist and artist, can read quantitative and qualitative data, sometimes even intuition. Think in probability, risk, and opportunity.
Super communicator, collaborator, and influencer - You’ll have thrived in keeping everyone aligned on the what, how, and why, of the direction and execution of the product vision.
Someone that doesn’t leave a mess - Someone who understands that Syncio operates under a greater environment and that Syncio must intentionally be a net-positive citizen of this environment.
