The Role
As an Account Manager at SyncTech, you will own the commercial health, retention, and expansion of portfolio customers. Your success is measured by Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and Expansion ARR , as well as customer happiness.
You’ll act as the long-term owner of assigned accounts, partnering closely with our customers to help them scale their use of SyncTech across teams, workflows, volumes, and regions—while ensuring SyncTech grows alongside them.
In the early stages, you’ll also play a hands-on role in onboarding and implementation, helping customers realise value quickly and setting the foundation for long-term growth.
This role offers real responsibility, autonomy, and upside—and is ideal for someone who wants to build, grow, and own revenue inside existing customers.
What You’ll Own (Accountability)
You will be directly accountable for:
- Net Revenue Retention (NRR) across your accounts
- Expansion Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), including:
- New use cases and workflows
- Increased volumes and usage
- New regions, locations, or business units
- Broader internal adoption
- Renewals and long-term account continuity
- Commercial health and growth trajectory of each account
- Implementation delivery, initially acting as the Customer Success owner during onboarding and rollout
This role carries real commercial accountability and upside. Success is defined by revenue growth, and long-term customer value, not activity or relationship metrics alone.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic insurance and restoration customers
- Lead onboarding, implementation, training, and early-stage adoption
- Act as the primary commercial and operational point of contact
- Identify, structure and execute expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Lead renewal conversations and value realisation discussions
- Translate customer insights and feedback into product, workflow, and go-to-market (GTM) improvements
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Operations to unblock growth
- Represent SyncTech in customer meetings, site visits, and industry engagements
- Travel to customer sites when required and spend time collaborating in our Neutral Bay (Sydney) office

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Property Insurance industry
- Experience in Account Management, Sales, or Customer Success
- Exposure to insurance assessing, adjusting, estimating, restoration, or related workflows
- A growth mindset and desire to continuously develop
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally and work from Neutral Bay / North Sydney
