Overview

With the advent of the 5G era, the cloud-based V2X brings exciting new possibilities. An electric vehicle is not only a computer with four wheels, but also a mobile data center! It is estimated that by 2030, there will be 700 million "connected cars" globally and 90 million self-driving cars! This presents new challenges and security risks.

Under the waves of electric vehicles trend, all electric vehicle component suppliers who want to sell products will have to obtain cybersecurity-related certifications. VicOne (a subsidiary of Trend Micro) aims to assist those who want to enter the electric vehicle industry to establish cybersecurity certification standards. To embrace the new business opportunities, we are hiring all passionate "YOU" to join and be inspired to go onto a new journey, while exploring Electric Vehicle Security Market in depth!

Location

Taipei, Taiwan, with global responsibilities. Travel may be required based on business needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • To assist the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
    • To provide technical expertise and support during sales presentations and client meetings.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients’ engineering teams, understanding their needs and providing tailored cybersecurity solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to automotive customers.
    • Stay updated on the automotive industry trends and market conditions to position our solutions effectively.

    Criteria:

    • Educational: A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred.

    • Technical Knowledge: Cybersecurity-related working experience and automotive technologies enthusiast are a plus.

    • Sales Experience: Some experience in pre-sales, preferably in the high-tech or automotive sectors.

    • Customer Relations: Ability to manage and build client relationships.

    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication in English.

    • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    • Motivation: Self-driven, working independently, and being customer-focused.

    • Others: able to travel frequently among in Asia countries
