Position Overview
We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team in Sydney. You'll have the chance to work on impactful, large-scale projects with a global reach. Our environment is flexible, supportive, and full of opportunities for both personal and professional growth.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the design, development, and deployment of new features and scalable systems.
- Build clean, maintainable, and high-performance code in a microservices architecture.
- Continuously improve and refactor existing systems while addressing technical debt.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user needs into intuitive features and workflows.
- Stay current with technology trends and contribute fresh ideas to the team.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong grasp of building and maintaining microservices with clean, testable code.
- Solid front-end experience with React, HTML, CSS (or equivalent frameworks like Vue, Angular, or Ember).
- Experience with AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
- Proven CI/CD knowledge with tools like Jenkins, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, etc.
- Strong communicator who can work effectively across local and remote teams.
- Comfortable translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving issues in production environments.
- Eager to share knowledge and foster community through presentations or meetups.
