Location: Las Colinas, Texas (In office minimum 3 days a week, remote 2 days)
Position Summary:
As potentially the first line of communication with new contacts in an account, the ideal SDR can quickly establish rapport and build new relationships with our target profiles in both written and virtual settings. The SDR is a good listener, has a customer “first” approach and is always looking for ways to connect our solutions to the (potential) customers problem. They are very proficient in detailed research and possess a strong desire to help our salespeople succeed.
The SDR is a quick learner, has a positive “can do” attitude and is adaptable to changing priorities that benefit the region. They can effectively collaborate with cross-functional team members to achieve regional goals and through on-going solution learnings can showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
Objectives Of This Role
Establish engagement with targeted customers and prospects to foster interested contact leads by nurturing desired target titles to build relationships and uncover new business opportunities for sales
Represent Trend Micro’s platform and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as account-based research to explain how our solutions meet the customer needs
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested customers and prospects and collaborate with sales to establish and execute strategic plans to move the account to opportunity creation
Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation processes
Responsibilities:
Utilize Microsoft Dynamics, 6sense, LinkedIn and organic search to understand the target company, associated decision makers and solution influencers
Identify and add new contacts into the CRM (Dynamics)
Follow-up on inbound and event leads, make cold calls, and set up email nurture sequences utilizing Outreach
Qualify inbound and outbound leads using MEDDPICC
Building trusting relationships with qualified leads thus helping to foster sales opportunities
Set up live or virtual meetings between customers and prospects with sales to achieve monthly meeting goals
Work in collaboration with sales, marketing and channel to drive event registration and travel to support live events as needed
During lead nurture, identify the needs of the company and suggest appropriate solutions or services
Log and track all meetings daily and prepare roll-up summaries for regional Sales & Marketing leadership on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
Participate in regular sales training, enablement sessions, and team meetings
Work from the office for a minimum of 3 days
Qualifications:
Energetic and self-motivated in delivering a high level of daily productivity
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability and desire to create relationships with new people
Detail oriented with research, processes and tracking
Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
Desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least three years of relevant work experience
Experience in a sales development role working with Sales in a B2B environment with a track record of achieving/exceeding meeting goals
Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM software and sales tools (Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, etc)
