We are seeking a Technical Account Manager to develop a deep technical relationship with a strategic Nordic and Baltic provider of national critical infrastructure. This client has a visionary roadmap for cybersecurity transformation using the TrendAI Platform. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth by providing proactive support, strategic guidance, and personalized solutions. You will offer technical enablement to facilitate product adoption, ensuring our customer can fully leverage our ecosystem. Dedicated to a client with a complex, high-security environment, you will provide tailored, focused, and embedded engineering support.
Overview: The serves as the primary technical interface for one of Trend Micro's most strategic customers. Unlike a traditional support role, theTechnical Account Manager is embedded in the customer's technical reality, managing their specific architectural needs, security posture, and platform evolution. You will bridge the gap between product capability and customer infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Engineering: Act as the trusted technical advisor, ensuring long-term success and maximizing the value the client receives from Trend Micro solutions within their critical infrastructure.
Proactive Operations: Deliver proactive technical care through regular health checks, configuration optimization, best-practice guidance, and tailored threat intelligence reports.
Stakeholder Alignment: Build and maintain a strong, strategic relationship with key technical stakeholders and architects across the customer’s organization.
Deployment & Onboarding: Architect and lead the onboarding of the customer into Trend platforms, ensuring smooth deployment, integration, and adoption.
Internal Advocacy: Serve as the customer’s technical advocate internally, ensuring their specific engineering constraints, challenges, and priorities are clearly represented to Trend Micro R&D and Product teams.
Hands-on Resolution: Provide hands-on consultancy, technical guidance, and problem resolution throughout implementation and steady-state operations.
Technical Management: Manage the engagement from a technical perspective by providing proactive product updates, threat assessments, and engineering-level training on products and emerging threats.
Incident Handling: Drive and coordinate critical escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of complex technical support cases.
Expansion & Risk: Collaborate closely with the Account Manager to identify technical expansion opportunities and mitigate potential architectural or deployment risks.
Communication: Deliver clear, confident technical presentations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to audiences ranging from DevOps engineers to C-level executives.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Driven & Technical: Enthusiastic about growing a career in high-stakes cybersecurity engineering.
Experience: 3+ years in Forward Deployed Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Critical IT Infrastructure roles.
Core Engineering Stack: Solid hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu), Windows Server, and enterprise networking.
Containerization Expert: Strong technical skills in Red Hat OpenShift / VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes (managing Pods, Services, Deployments, ReplicaSets, StatefulSets).
IaC & Cloud: Experience with Terraform CLI and managing cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
Hardware & Virtualization: Experience with hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, and cluster management is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset; able to articulate detailed technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Autonomy: Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-security environment with minimal supervision; self-managed and proactive.
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain security clearance is mandatory.
Language: Fluent in English (Swedish is a strong plus).
Certifications: Credentials in IT, networking (CCNA/CCNP), or security (CISSP/CISM) are a plus.
