As we continue to grow and expand our business, we are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Finance Vice President to lead and oversee our critical financial functions ensuring robust financial strategies and operational efficiency.

Job Overview:

As the Vice President of Finance, you will be a key member of our executive leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing our financial strategy across a range of critical areas. You will provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership for financial planning & analysis, accounting and reporting, treasury management, taxation, finance operations, legal, compliance, and M&A due diligence, culminating in IPO readiness.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and drive our financial strategy in alignment with our business goals.
• Lead financial planning & analysis, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
• Provide financial insights for pricing, cost analysis, and profitability assessments.
• Oversee accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and OTA reconciliations and processes.
• Manage treasury operations, optimizing cash flow, investments, and risk management.
• Build and maintain strong banking relationships, negotiating terms and financing solutions.
• Develop tax strategies, oversee tax planning, and manage tax compliance and reporting.
• Lead finance operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management.
• Develop and maintain robust financial systems, policies, and internal controls.
• Manage legal matters, including licensing, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate group audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Lead M&A due diligence efforts, identifying risks and opportunities for potential acquisitions.
• Drive IPO readiness, collaborating with cross-functional teams for successful public offering preparation.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance and operations teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a Finance Director or VP of Finance running a finance team in a high-growth, multi-national company with significant operational complexity.
• More than 10 years of working experience with similar capacity.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning and decision support.
• Proficient in administrative processes, facilities management, and procurement.
• Proficiency in taxation, treasury management, legal matters, compliance, and operations.
• Fundraising or investment banking experience is useful, but the priority is finding a first-class operator.
• Prior experience with IPO preparation, M&A, cross-border ecommerce or online travel in the Middle East and/or other emerging markets is desirable.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Any programming or data science abilities would be a significant advantage.
• Flexibility to travel as needed to various company offices in different regions (e.g. Dubai, Bangalore, Cairo and etc.…)
