About the Role
The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function for manufacturing locations. This role supports day-to-day HR processes, employee services, onboarding, HRIS data management, temp coordination, employee engagement, and general HR administration. This position will also provide administrative support to the Safety Manager as needed.
This role is split between our Fresno and Dinuba facilities (3 days per week in Dinuba and 2 days per week in Fresno). This is a temporary position with the potential to become a regular position.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee HR questions, forms, and routine requests.
- Assist with onboarding activities including new hire paperwork, I-9 completion, orientation coordination, and badge creation.
- Create requisitions and support temp-to-hire workflows, including agency communication, assignment tracking, and conversions.
- Prepare offer letters, promotion letters, status change letters, and other employee correspondence.
- Process recognition, juice, and employee reward/engagement cards in support of morale and retention initiatives.
- Maintain employee personnel files, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Assist with employee separation paperwork and related administrative processes.
- Support policy rollouts, hiring events, and staffing initiatives.
- Coordinate engagement events, employee appreciation activities, and internal communications including posters, flyers, and related materials.
HRIS / Systems Support
- Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS systems (Dayforce), including staffing charts, headcount reports, and org updates.
- Support employees and managers with Dayforce access, navigation, and general system questions.
- Conduct data audits to ensure HRIS accuracy and staffing alignment.
Safety / Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Safety Manager as needed.
- Assist with training rosters, compliance documentation, safety communications, and scheduling.
- Help coordinate safety meetings and events.
General Administrative Duties
- Maintain HR office supplies, forms inventory, breakroom, and employee materials.
- Support audits, reporting requests, and special projects.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance and participate in required meetings, trainings, and company events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1+ years' experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or similar position, providing administrative, staffing, and/or payroll support.
- Experience with Dayforce or similar HRIS.
- Bilingual English/Spanish (required).
- Experience in a manufacturing or multi-shift environment is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- High level of discretion with confidential information.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
