Join our Security Architecture team as a Security Specialist to develop and implement security strategies across company systems. As a Security Specialist, you will collaborate with Security Architects and key partners to identify, handle, and mitigate security risks across the organization, maintain security strategies and roadmaps, and understand security capabilities are in place to protect against potential threats.
Your role involves working with the Director of Security Architecture to develop and implement cybersecurity strategy, reducing risk. Successful candidates will have a technical and business background in cybersecurity architecture and the ability to optimally communicate technical and business risks to appropriate audiences. This role works alongside Security Architects and partners across Business Units to support security projects & strategic objectives through a collaborative, risk-based approach.
This position provides a great chance for a recent graduate to acquire hands-on experience in cybersecurity architecture while collaborating with experienced engineers. The successful candidate will have the chance to grow their skills and contribute to the protection of Aristocrat’s critical assets.
What You'll Do
Support the definition, design, and selection of security capabilities and controls by defining information security requirements that connect Aristocrat’s cybersecurity and risk management strategy and objectives with business requirements for enterprise environments and products
Provides support in the development, management, and maintenance of our current and target state cybersecurity strategy, technical security requirements, and standards
Support Enterprise Security Architecture activities, including supporting the development of cybersecurity programs and technology roadmaps
Offer technical assistance and advice to internal customers throughout the organization regarding cybersecurity architecture standard methodologies
Participate in reviewing, redesigning, and approving architecture designs from other areas of the business to ensure they are secure and meet necessary security requirements
Ensure that security capabilities are in place to protect against potential threats and that they are tested regularly to ensure their effectiveness
Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, trends, and threats, and recommend appropriate security measures
What We're Looking For
2+ years information services, cybersecurity and/or security technologies experience
Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and SABSA framework are desirable
Proficiency in security technologies and cybersecurity concepts across network, cloud, identity and access management, and data protection domains
Ability to build presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with partners and work cross-functionally across teams
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions to complex security challenges
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in working with a geographically dispersed team is a plus

$75,733 - $140,647 per yearOur goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
