What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s or an advanced degree (i.e., Masters or PhD) in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Human Factors, Organizational Behavior, Design Research, or a related field.
3+ years of experience conducting applied research in workplace, design, organizational, or behavioral settings. Experience in consulting, corporate real estate, or workplace strategy is a plus.
Proven ability to use multi-modal research methods (quantitative and qualitative).
Experience working with vendors for observational, utilization, or ethnographic research.
Proficiency with tools like Qualtrics, Miro, Tableau, or Databricks (or similar).
Ability to present findings in clear, narrative-driven formats for decision-makers.
Strong stakeholder management skills—you build trust and collaborate across disciplines.
A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and proactively finds ways to add value.
An enthusiasm for AI and its applications to Workplace Experience.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $155,700 - $203,275
Zone B: $140,400 - $183,300
Zone C: $129,600 - $169,200
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
