The Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and calibration of Servomex Gas Analyzers. They will provide technical support to our customers via email and telephone communication. The successful candidate may be called upon to support field service operations and/or production testing as required by business needs.

Location: This position is based at our facility in Sugar Land, Texas and requires daily on-site presence.

About the Opportunity:

• Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of Servomex Gas Analyzers and for providing customer technical support via email and telephone communications.
• Maintain electronic and paper documentation for preventive maintenance, mechanical integrity tasks, and regulatory required calibrations.
• Use of digital mustimeters, loop calibrators, leak detectors, and flow meters.
• Maintain a fleet of rental and demo analyzers.
• Complete evaluation of customer equipment and recommend replacement parts, course of action to repair, and estimated repair time required.
• Update daily repair reports, time punches for work completed on customer equipment.
• Complete repair reports, calibration certification documents, and test reports.
• Handle customer and channel partner telephone calls and emails, providing excellent customer service and technical assistance in a timely manner.
• Occasional on-site customer visits or work/train at other Servomex locations, including international locations.

About Your Talent:

Essential Skills, Experience and Education:

• Capable of reading and understanding equipment manuals, tech bulletins, and direct guidance from analyzer product managers.
• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electronic, automation control devices, or analyzers.
• Proven track record of working with gas analyzers / sample systems (or closely related equipment) within a laboratory setting, repair depot or manufacturing department.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, PC based service software (Field Service Lightening, Service Max).
• Experience using various testing meters, calibration equipment, vent hoods, and gas blender/mixers.
• A strong record of ownership – perform your role as if you are running your own business.
• Multi-tasking: ability to prioritize as needed while maintaining a daily schedule of work tasks.
• High school diploma, associate degree in electronics, analytical science or similar is desirable.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Ability to troubleshoot analyzer issues.
• Experience using PC-based repair reporting system to train repair needs, spare parts, and time.
• Spanish language skills.
• Excels in a fast-paced environment and prioritizes urgent issues while maintaining an efficient work rhythm.
• Detail-oriented and dedicated to accuracy while remaining fluid in execution.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (flexible start times)

Salary: $30 to $40 per hour: Servomex considers several factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
