Job Overview

To ensure the optimal operation and longevity of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure by conducting scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), diagnostics, and corrective servicing across the facility. The Maintenance Engineer plays a key role in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous improvement in equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on production and facility equipment in accordance with maintenance plans.
  • Carry out servicing of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct safety and performance checks on machinery and tools.
  • Identify and troubleshoot faults, assess root causes, and execute timely repairs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and equipment histories.
  • Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment.
  • Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption during servicing.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and permit-to-work systems.
  • Report critical equipment issues or potential failures to the Maintenance Manager
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

What your background should look like

  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools and basic workshop equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, including PPE, risk assessments, and HSE practices.
