Description

We are seeking a Temporary Compliance Manager to join our team for approximately 20 hours per week during our current manager's maternity leave. This role is critical in managing and responding to customer questionnaires and compliance inquiries, ensuring that all data handling and business practices meet stringent standards. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in compliance, particularly in SaaS companies, and be familiar with relevant regulations and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Compliance Response: Manage and respond to all customer compliance inquiries and questionnaires, ensuring timely and accurate replies that uphold our company's compliance standards.
  • Regulatory Understanding: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity compliance and regulations to accurately address customer concerns.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of all compliance activities and communications to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with various departments to gather the necessary information to accurately respond to external compliance queries.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in compliance, particularly in the SaaS industry.
  • Familiarity with cyber compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of business processes related to SaaS products and services.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in drafting clear and concise responses.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training and guidance.
  • Efficient time management skills, with the capability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • A basic understanding of privacy laws and regulations, including the Data Protection Act (DPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
