Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and security-oriented System Administrator with 3–5
years of hands-on experience to join our IT team. Responsible for maintaining,
configuring, and securing our organization’s infrastructure, with a strong focus on
networking, virtualization, and firewall administration. Strong communication and
customer service skills are essential, as this role involves frequent interaction with
internal users and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor internal infrastructure, including servers, networks,
- Administer and maintain systems such as VMware/Hyper-V and backup solutions.
- Configure and maintain network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) with a focus
- Apply security patches, hardening procedures, and proactively monitor for threats
- Respond to technical system support tickets and incidents in a timely and
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures clearly and
- Collaborate with other IT staff to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in a system/network administration role.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware.
- Proficiency in managing firewalls.
- Strong knowledge of security best practices and system hardening techniques.
- Familiarity with Microsoft and/or Linux server environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and security awareness.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong customer service orientation.
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
