Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and security-oriented System Administrator with 3–5

years of hands-on experience to join our IT team. Responsible for maintaining,

configuring, and securing our organization’s infrastructure, with a strong focus on

networking, virtualization, and firewall administration. Strong communication and

customer service skills are essential, as this role involves frequent interaction with

internal users and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor internal infrastructure, including servers, networks,

virtualization platforms, and firewalls.

  • Administer and maintain systems such as VMware/Hyper-V and backup solutions.
  • Configure and maintain network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) with a focus

on security best practices.

  • Apply security patches, hardening procedures, and proactively monitor for threats

and vulnerabilities.

  • Respond to technical system support tickets and incidents in a timely and

customer-focused manner.

  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures clearly and

accurately.

  • Collaborate with other IT staff to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and

improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a system/network administration role.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and hardware.
  • Proficiency in managing firewalls.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and system hardening techniques.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and/or Linux server environments.
