About the Role
Join Zeller’s Strategy & Operations team as an Operations Analyst and drive scalable growth by designing efficient, automated and compliant processes. As a part of the Strategy and Operations team, you will act as a trusted advisor to the business, implementing process design through our operational teams and platforms.
In this role, you will help re-imagine the financial services industry, switching between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will support teams across the organisation by designing scalable operational processes, rigorously testing hypotheses, and providing clarity through structured, logical analysis. This position offers a 360 degree view on the payments and financial services value chain—from detailed analysis of the product landscape to supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal Operations & Process Design
- Operating Model Design: Design operating models that integrate people, systems, processes, and data across the business.
- Process Engineering: Develop and document business processes and procedures, including process maps (BPMN experience preferred), user stories, and requirements.
- Productivity & Capacity Planning: Conduct productivity modelling to assist in identifying improvement opportunities in servicing and capacity planning.
- Regulatory Implementation: Assess and apply industry and regulatory requirements to business processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and propose automation or optimisation solutions.
- Systems, Automation & CRM Management
- HubSpot Ownership: Manage and maintain the configuration, operation, and optimisation of HubSpot.
- Automation Strategy: Design, build, and implement automations to streamline processes, automate tasks, and improve operational efficiency.
- Tool Configuration: Configure and manage operational tools and platforms to implement new processes and procedures.
- Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance standards within HubSpot, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across teams.
- Project Management & Cross-Functional Execution
- Project Delivery: Lead cross-functional projects from inception to delivery by identifying customer needs, creating implementation projections, and overseeing execution.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to de-risk critical paths, build scalable solutions, and meet deadlines.
- Change Management: Lead and drive process changes, ensuring successful adoption across teams.
- Strategic Insight: Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on process optimisation and operational scalability, leveraging data-driven insights.
Qualifications and Experience
- Automation Skills: Experience in process automation using HubSpot (or equivalent CRM) or platforms such as Zapier, Jira, or Slack is a pre-requisite or demonstration of ability to learn and master new platforms
- Professional Background: 1 -3 years of management consulting experience in Strategy & Operations (particularly within Financial Services) or experience in high-growth FinTech/SaaS environments is preferred
- Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to translate user requirements into actionable processes and write clear, structured process documentation.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong Excel skills are required; data modelling experience is a plus.
- Project Management: Proven end-to-end project management experience, from strategic discussions to execution
- Data-Driven: Proficiency in quantitative analysis, identifying key data inputs, and assessing trends to inform operational strategies
